Gourab Ghoshal, Assistant Professor of Physics and Astronomy with joint appointments in the departments of Computer Science and Mathematics, had his article “Morphology of travel routes and the organization of cities” published in Nature Communications on 20th December 2017. Ghoshal is also a Rochester Data Science Center of Excellence distinguished researcher.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Thursday announced $22.5 million in state support for the creation of the Rochester Data Science Consortium on the ÌìÃÀÊÓƵ campus. The consortium will create up to 184 new jobs and is expected to leverage more than $285 million in federal research funds and private investment.
