Five University researchers , which recognizes early-career faculty: Thomas Howard, an associate professor of electrical and computer engineering; Ross Maddox, an associate professor of biomedical engineering and neuroscience; Sreepathi Pai, an assistant professor of computer science; and Andrea Pickel and Jessica Shang, assistant professors of mechanical engineering. The award provides recipients five years of funding to help lay the foundation for their future research.
